BACKGROUND ON JENA
Jena Baker McNeill is a senior director of government relations at the U.S. Travel Association in Washington, D.C. In this position, she performs outreach and lobbying to advance U.S. Travel’s legislative priorities in Congress and the Executive Branch. McNeill has more than a decade of experience working on and with Capitol Hill and state legislatures on topics of homeland security, cybersecurity, government oversight, and immigration policy. Her work and commentary has been featured in numerous media outlets from the Wall Street Journal to USA Today and she has testified before Congress and state legislatures on homeland security and immigration enforcement matters. She is co-chair of the Women in Government Relations National Security and Defense Taskforce and was nominated for a Professional Women in Advocacy award in 2016 for her work on preserving our Open Skies agreements. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park and the University of Arkansas Little Rock School of Law. McNeill is married to Greg McNeill, a veteran hill staffer and they have a 3-year-old son, Nixon.
