Happy start to the week! It feels like a Monday even though it’s technically Tuesday.
After a long weekend, it’s sometimes tough to get going. You’re still wishing it was the weekend. You’re dreaming of the summer ahead. I mean, in most areas the pools have opened even if it isn’t quite the ideal temperature for a swim! If you’re back to work today though, I want to encourage you to refocus and be present where you are. Doesn’t it feel worse when you’re mentally fighting against being present?
You may even be thinking about how you dislike your job and wish you could do something else. But, guess what? Stewing at your desk today helps no one so maybe instead you can think about what you’re grateful for. Think about the friends you like at your office, how this job helps you take care of yourself or your family, about how you’re thankful you even have a job (you know, if you’re desperate).
Get your head back in the game today. Besides, it’s a short week! Happy Tuesday!
